NP/PA Pulmonology opening in Nebraska - Located in North Platte, NE - Lincoln 225m; Denver, CO 260m - Full-time, permanent position - 2+ years experience in Pulmonology - Mix of inpatient and outpatient: APPs will rotate between inpatient and outpatient work - Inpatient: typical week is Monday Friday hospital rounds evaluating pulmonary and critical care patients as consulted. These include new consults and progress notes on patients in ICU as well as acute care and medical/surgical care. - Outpatient: Clinic is Monday Friday 8 a.m. 5 p.m. with time allowance of one half day for administrative time/charting Behavioral Expectations: - Confident with pleasant demeanor toward patients and families - Outgoing; build referrals - Provides post-care phone calls as needed - Support the provider in outreach clinic when needed Pulmonology Services - Acute respiratory distress syndrome - Asthma - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (emphysema) - Chronic respiratory infection - Emphysema - Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) - Obstructive lung disease - Pulmonary vascular disease - Mesothelioma - Respiratory tract infections - Respiratory tumors - Lung cancer - Infectious diseases of the lung - Cystic fibrosis - Pulmonary hypertension - Pleural diseases - Conventional bronchoscopy - Lung cancer screenings
