Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry opening in NM
Located in Artesia, NM
Full-Time, Permanent
- Schedule: 10 hours, 4 days a week
- Pay: Negotiated with CEO, but over 100K
- Responsibilities: Cover two outpatient practices and an inpatient adult psych unit. One person takes lead on the inpatient unit and the others cover on her days off. There is the option of rounding on the inpatient unit on the weekend for extra pay. Most of the outpatient practice is medication management and we allocate 20 minutes for established patients and 40 minutes for new patients. There is a licensed social worker available to do counseling.
- Qualifications: Must be board certified as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. One year of experience preferred, but would look at someone who is green, based upon experience and knowledge.
- Hospital employee and work with two other NPs and a social worker therapist. Hospital benefits and holidays apply.
- Inpatient or Outpatient Both, but mostly time is in the outpatient practice.
