Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Randolph, MA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children, adolescents, and/or families in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered mental health care and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for pediatric and/or family populations

  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices

  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications

  • Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and patient/family education as appropriate

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress

  • Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and clinical best practices

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing from an accredited college or university

  • Certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

  • Eligible for or holding Massachusetts APRN license

  • Active RN license in Massachusetts (or eligible for licensure)

  • DEA registration (or eligible to obtain)

  • Experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and/or family populations preferred

  • Strong communication and patient-centered care skills

  • Must be culturally and linguistically competent

  • Bilingual candidate required (Haitian Creole, Portuguese Creole, Spanish, Cantonese, Vietnamese)

  • Experience in outpatient mental health or behavioral health settings preferred

  • Familiarity with EMR systems

  • Experience with telehealth services preferred
