Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Oswego, NY
About the Opportunity:
Located 20 miles from Syracuse
Part - Time
Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a team
Manage youth and/or adult outpatient psychiatric services
The candidate will work as a physician extender to deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting.
The incoming Psych NP will work in collaboration with physicians and APP’s to assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols.
This candidate in collaboration with a therapist, will be responsible for obtaining complete medical histories and performing physical examinations in the outpatient setting for the youth and/or adult population, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, completing medication management and making referrals for specialty consultations and care.
