Physician Assistant – Outpatient Psychiatry (Leadership Opportunity)

About the Role

A busy, rapidly growing outpatient psychiatry practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care while taking on a leadership role. This position blends hands-on psychiatric care with mentorship, team development, and program oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior outpatient mental health experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose conditions, and manage medications

• Provide ongoing treatment and follow-up care for outpatient patients

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of Advanced Practice Providers (PAs and NPs)

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams

• Ensure adherence to clinical quality standards and regulatory requirements

• Contribute to process improvements and program development

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted CA PA license

• 5+ years of outpatient psychiatry experience (adult, child/adolescent, or both)

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building skills

• Strong commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Compensation & Benefits

• $175K – $220K annual salary
