The group also provides an annually loaded HSA of up to $2,000, a 5% match towards your retirement, generous paid time off (19 ¬Ω days per year) AND 13 paid holidays. **Duties:** Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer or designee, performs evaluations, diagnoses, ongoing assessments, and treatment of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or developmental disabilities. Identifies client needs, makes treatment plans and referrals, and provides medication management and psycho-educational support in collaboration with existing medical staff and program; performs related work as required. **Minimum Requirements:** - Masters degree - Graduate of an accredited PA or NP Program. - Fully licensed in the State of Michigan as a Physician Assistant, has Michigan Controlled Substance License, Current NCCPA certification. - Three (3) years experience working as a Certified Physician Assistant AND three (3) years clinical experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or developmental disabilities, including assessment, medication management, and crisis intervention in the outpatient or inpatient setting. - Must have a valid Michigan drivers license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours. **Additional Information** - Flint has had a number of economic and social challenges, and the recent Water Crisis has added to the struggles for families and especially the children. - Medical Center is the largest behavioral provider in the county, and one of the largest in Michigan. - The position offers a competitive salary, fully paid malpractice, health and dental, generous vacation and holidays, and possible loan repayment.
