Northeastern NC Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant to help provide coverage for their team. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled for orientation. No specific dates currently. Details: Both Inpatient & Outpatient. 40 hour schedule days can vary during the week. Established practice with 3 existing physicians. Call Schedule 1:4. Weekends Required. Remain on-site while on call. BLS Required. Expected to serve as back up in the ER. Average Total Inpatient Census: 25-26 Geropsych and Adult Psych. Average # of patients per day: 20-24. Average # of admissions/day: 5. Average # admissions/night: 1-2. No ICU Duties. 114-bed hospital. Low Volume Emergency Department (15 beds). 21,000 patients per year. 24 hour rotational shifts. Other info: EMR = EPIC (HealthSpan). Competitive Locums pay, housing, travel, and malpractice provided.
