We are hiring an experienced General Surgery/ Colorectal Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our well established Hospital in Butte County California!

Our Colorectal and General Surgery Clinic is to provide specialized treatment for diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. This Physician Assistant should be clinically competent and experienced in general surgery/Colorectal Surgery/Trauma Surgery.

Our dedicated state-of-the-art operating suites allow the local Colorectal Surgeons to perform minimally invasive surgical procedures with advanced laparoscopic and robotic assisted operations. We offer inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, wound and ostomy services to provide a smooth transition from hospital to home. offer a range of treatment options for benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) diseases with a focus on techniques that cause less pain and promote faster recovery.

The individual will assist the physician with all pre-op and post-op rounding and clinic patients. Individual will initiate daily post-operative patient care management and clinic rounds.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
Current California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA), if not a graduate from an accredited ARC Physician Assistant educational program
Current CPR recognition
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 3 months of hire
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application
Meets Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to bill Medicare
