Preferred Podiatry Group (PPG) is actively hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) in the Chattanooga, TN area to provide compassionate, podiatric-focused care to residents in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), nursing homes, and assisted/independent living communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting thefoot and lower extremities
  • Provide diabetic foot care and preventive wound management
  • Educate patients and caregivers on foot health and mobility preservation
  • Collaborate with nursing facility staff to coordinate patient-centered care
  • Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure best-in-class outcomes
  • Document clinical encounters using NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad



What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (required)
  • Active state licensure as Physician Assistant or eligibility to obtain license (required)
  • Experience post Physician Assistant training in the podiatry space strongly preferred.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required)
  • Clinical experience in podiatry post-PA training (strongly preferred)
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation

  • Our providers are compensated based on the percentage of the revenue they generate. This means the more patients you see and the larger your caseload, the greater your earning potential. Full details about our remuneration model will be discussed during the interview process.
