Physician Assistant Seabrook, TX (30 miles SE of Houston)

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our integrated medical practice full time in Seabrook, TX. We are a suburb of Houston, conveniently located close to the bay and to the city.

The PA duties include performing focused physical exams with emphasis on musculoskeletal exams, order the appropriate diagnostics to determine correct patient diagnosis, evaluate clinical data, consult with our medical team, and provide appropriate treatments and patient education, to overall help direct and manage the patient's care.

Duties:

  • Patient Consultations- Orthopedic and Neuro (Review medical history, healthcare needs and goals, review pertinent records)
  • Patient exams (musculoskeletal and Neuro focused)
  • Order and review diagnostic imaging/labs/bloodwork
  • Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to the treatment plan, care plan options, and pre and post care
  • Perform treatments to include Ultrasound guided joint injections and trigger point injections (will provide training if needed)
  • Prescribe DME accordingly
  • Assistance with wound care
  • Collaborating with colleagues for comprehensive patient care
  • Documentation- thorough, timely and accurate
  • Regular patient follow up and care

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA)
  • PA license to practice in TX
  • Experience in Joint and trigger point injections a plus (will train the right candidate if needed)
  • Experience in Physical Medicine, Orthopedics, functional medicine, and/or regen medicine a plus

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday – Thursday
  • Occasional Friday work (limited)

Compensation (range):

  • $110k-$120k (based on experience)
  • additional $20,000 per year paid quarterly through bonuses
