APP – Pediatrics Opportunity Location: Atlantic City, NJ Bilingual Preferred with 2+ years of Experience • Full-time and part-time opportunities available. • Flexible scheduling with general daytime hours Monday–Friday. • Rotating Saturday coverage and at least one late evening per week. • Provides comprehensive pediatric care in a fast-paced clinical environment. • Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats illnesses and disorders in accordance with established medical protocols and in collaboration with physicians. • Performs comprehensive physical assessments, including obtaining and interpreting medical and social histories. • Identifies and evaluates patient health problems based on clinical findings, laboratory results, diagnostic studies, and medical records. • Develops, implements, and coordinates comprehensive individualized care plans. • Monitors patient response to treatment and therapeutic regimens, documents progress, and provides patient counseling and education as needed. • Orders and interprets laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as appropriate. • Initiates referrals to specialists, consulting physicians, and other healthcare providers as needed. • Coordinates patient care, discharge planning, and follow-up services. • Collaborates effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care. • Prescribes medications in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations and organizational guidelines. • Reviews patient records with physicians to ensure comprehensive assessment and appropriate treatment planning. • Maintains current clinical knowledge and participates in continuing education and professional development activities. Qualifications: o Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. o Current New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license. o Current CDS and DEA registration. o Current CPR certification. o Experience in a Family Practice or primary care setting preferred. o Community health experience preferred. o Strong verbal and written communication skills. o Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
