Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity in Southaven, MS
An established pediatric team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative clinical setting. This role involves evaluating and managing pediatric patients while working closely with supervising physicians.
Position Details
• Full-time opportunity
• Provide patient evaluation and work-ups including history, physical assessments, and patient/family education
• Review laboratory, diagnostic, and therapy reports
• Interpret clinical data to develop diagnoses and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians to determine and implement patient care plans
• Maintain and review patient records and documentation
• Execute physician-directed protocols and treatment plans
• Perform injections, aspirations, and suture/staple removal or placement
• Assist with fracture and dislocation reductions and removal of superficial orthopedic hardware when necessary
• Provide first aid and emergency response care when required
Requirements
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited PA program with national certification
• Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree in Nursing with national NP certification
• Active or eligible for state licensure
• Experience in minor medical care and emergency care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
