Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) opening - Seacoast Region of New Hampshire Location: Stratham, NH Details:
- Part-time, permanent position
- 2+ years of Pediatric NP experience is required
- This pediatric practice in the beautiful Seacoast region of New Hampshire is seeking a part-time PNP to join a dedicated team. The practice is committed to providing the highest quality, family-centered care to its community's youngest residents, from infancy through young adulthood. About the Role: As a PNP with our practice, you'll be a vital part of a collaborative healthcare team. You'll work closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive care. This includes:
- Conducting well-child and adolescent exams, behavioral health assessments and treatments.
- Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and managing chronic conditions such as asthma.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Prescribing and managing medications and immunizations.
- Educating and counseling children and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and developmental milestones.
- Serving as a patient advocate and providing emotional support to families during difficult times. Qualifications and Skills We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about pediatric care and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A masters or doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and unrestricted Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification and an active New Hampshire NP license.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in a primary care pediatric setting is required.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to connect with children of all ages and their families.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
