Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outpatient pediatric care to a diverse patient base, with approximately 75 percent Spanish-speaking patients
- Work with support staff including translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants to optimize communication and care delivery
- Manage a patient demographic with 78 percent covered by Medical/Medicaid
- Utilize experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS environments as applicable
- Ensure all care meets current clinical and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality pediatric services
Additional Information
- Locum experience is required
- Recent experience in a pediatric setting is essential
- Must have active California licensure, DEA, and furnishing license
- Required board certifications: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PPCNP-BC)
