A hospital in Georgetown, SC is seeking a certified Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) to provide immediate coverage due to an FMLA leave. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with grossing large surgical specimens and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Grossing of complex and large surgical pathology specimens
Accurately describe, dissect, and dictate specimen details
Collaborate with pathologists and lab staff to ensure high-quality processing
Maintain precise records and adhere to departmental protocols
Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
