Make a difference for patients living with chronic pain

Join TMC’s Integrative Pain Center, a collaborative, patient-centered program delivering multimodal care for acute and chronic pain. We’re seeking a skilled, compassionate Physician Assistant who thrives in team-based outpatient practice.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Base: $140,000 DOE (Pain Management APP range)

  • Sign-On: $20,000 | Relocation: $10,000

  • Schedule: Outpatient only — 4×10s or 5×8s, no call

  • Benefits: PTO (accrual) | CME: 5 days / $3,500

Job Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive H&Ps; order/interpret diagnostics
Co‑manage chronic pain with a multimodal plan (meds, interventional referrals, PT, behavioral health)
Prescribe and monitor medications (including controlled substances) under physician supervision
Educate patients; set expectations; coordinate follow‑up
Document per TMC standards and collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited PA program
Current Arizona PA license, CPR, DEA (ACLS required per dept)
3+ years’ experience preferred (pain, addiction medicine, or complex chronic care a plus)
• Comfort with team‑based care, evidence‑based prescribing, and longitudinal management

Working Hours

Schedule: Outpatient only — 4×10s or 5×8s, no call

Skills

Advanced assessment & diagnostic skills; identifies abnormal findings
Safe, compliant medication management (incl. controlled substances)
EMR proficiency and strong documentation discipline
Team‑first communication across a multidisciplinary model
Compassionate patient education and expectation‑setting
