Description: Physician Assistant needed for comprehensive pain management practice within multi-specialty health care clinic in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct physical exams, assess health status, order and interprets tests, prescribe medications, and treat injuries and illnesses.
- Consult with physician as needed for more complicated medical cases or cases that are not a routine part of a PA's scope of work.
- Triage and evaluate patient problems.
- Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care.
Expectations for success:
- Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited physician assistant program.
- National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Current state PA license.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Neurology/Internal Medicine experience preferred.
- Experience performing procedures preferred.
- Current DEA license.
- Current state controlled substance license.
