Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician Assistant Opportunity
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Department: Otolaryngology (ENT)
Employment Type: Full Time, permanent position
Schedule: Four-day work week
Call: Limited weekend call
FTE: 1.0
Position Overview
This role offers an experienced Physician Assistant the opportunity to support a high-volume ENT practice with a strong emphasis on procedural care, operating room support, and interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition to direct patient care, the position includes opportunities for academic involvement and clinical research participation.
Position Highlights

Clinical Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories and physical exams
* Perform and assist with ENT-specific procedures including
* Nasal endoscopy
* Laryngoscopy
* Otomicroscopy
* Head and neck biopsies
* Provide preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients
* Assist surgeons in the operating room for ENT and head and neck procedures
* Manage follow-up care and collaborate on treatment plans
* Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and post-care instructions
Academic & Research Responsibilities
* Participate in teaching and mentoring learners
* Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Physician Assistant
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Current NCCPA certification
* Registration with the Arizona State Board of Medical Practice
Experience Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of recent ENT APP experience
* Or completion of an Otolaryngology PA Fellowship
* New graduates will not be considered
Additional Requirements
* BLS certification required
* DEA registration required
* Proficiency in ENT procedures and OR protocols
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
* Interest or experience in academic or research-based medicine
* Team-oriented, patient-centered approach
