Willamette ENT, an 8-provider premier Ear, Nose, and Throat practice located in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our thriving practice.

This is an incredible opportunity to take part in a well-established single-specialty clinic on a physician owned campus that includes both an ambulatory surgical center (ASC) and a large clinic component. The clinic includes both Allergy and Audiology departments as well as the capability to perform in-office temporal bone and sinus CT scans. The ASC contains three surgical suites with image guidance, nerve monitoring equipment, and holds JCAHO accreditation.

Job Responsibilities

-Conduct patient evaluations, including taking detailed histories and performing physical examinations.
-Diagnose and treat a variety of ear, nose, and throat conditions in collaboration with our Otolaryngologists.
-Perform minor surgical procedures and provide preoperative and postoperative care.
-Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle adjustments or therapies to improve patient health.
-Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
-Educate patients and their families on conditions and treatment plans.
-Assist in the management of emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

-Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
-Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Oregon.

Working Hours

The clinic hours of operation are Monday-Friday. Expected hours for this position would include 4 ten-hour long shifts during the week. There are also shared on-call responsibilities between the providers, which require overnight availability.

Skills

-Prior experience in otolaryngology preferred, but not required.
-Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using medical tools and equipment relevant to otolaryngology.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact compassionately with patients.
-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
