Compensation: Starting $140,000 $180,000 annually (commensurate with experience) plus bonus potential.
About the Role
WellTech Partners is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a high-performing team in the Red Bluff/Redding area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician or a new graduate eager to grow their skills in pain management, musculoskeletal care, and rehabilitative medicine. This is a leading, long-established medical group specializing in pain management and rehabilitative care. This team of board-certified providers delivers innovative, cost-effective, and compassionate care for acute and chronic pain conditions using a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions under physician supervision.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Perform minor procedures and assist with interventional pain management techniques where appropriate.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications within scope of practice.
- Educate patients on pain management options, self-care, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, behavioral health providers, etc.) to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document all patient encounters in the electronic health record promptly and accurately.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted California Physician Assistant License or California Nurse Practitioner License.
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
- Experience in pain management, musculoskeletal disorders, orthopedics, or workers compensation care preferred (training provided for new grads).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience (residency experience accepted for new graduates).
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-education skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (attorneys, physicians).
