Ready to practice optometry in a beautiful New England town where work-life balance isn’t just a buzzword? We’re looking for a personable, skilled, and motivated medical optometrist to join a well-established, hospital-owned practice in scenic Rutland, Vermont.
You’ll be working alongside a collaborative ophthalmologist and a top-notch team of six certified ophthalmic assistants. The office is located right next to the hospital, making coordination of care simple and efficient. From pediatrics to geriatrics, you'll serve a wide range of patients with a full spectrum of vision and eye health services—assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and ongoing management of visual system conditions.
We’re looking for someone who’s completed an accredited optometry program (OD), is licensed through the NBEO and the State of Vermont, and holds a current BLS certification. A few years of clinical experience is great, but a strong patient-first approach, clear communication, and a collaborative spirit matter even more.
