Our client in Seattle, Washington is seeking a full time physician assistant to join their thriving orthopedic practice! Candidate must have previous experience in orthopedics or another surgical specialty to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-assist, inpatient, and outpatient services

• 4 day work week - 2 days per week first-assisting in the OR, 2 days per week seeing patients in clinic pre-op and post-op

• Work in the field of general orthopedics and total joints (with opportunity to sub-specialize)

• Call schedule 1 in 3, with weekend rounding also 1 in 3 weekends

• Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures

• Assess patient health through physical examinations and patient history

• Develop and implement patient management plans

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopedics or another surgical specialty (must have first-assist experience)

• Active Washington State Physician Assistant License

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
