Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity in Lewiston, ME
Seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a growing orthopedic and musculoskeletal service line
Full-time employed position within a collaborative orthopedic team
Mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, surgical first assist, and post-operative care
Work across sports medicine, total joints, trauma, and general orthopedics
Established referral base with strong orthopedic service line support
State-of-the-art surgical, imaging, and procedural facilities
Supportive leadership focused on service line growth and development
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
Assist in orthopedic surgeries including joint replacement, fracture repair, and sports procedures
Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments
Order and interpret imaging and laboratory studies
Provide patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, therapists, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
NCCPA certification required
Active or eligible Maine PA license
Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
New graduates with strong orthopedic rotations considered
Strong communication and team-based care skills
