Job description Orthopaedic Physician Assistant
Location : Tallahassee, FL
Work schedule : Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

Overview
A well-established, patient-focused orthopaedic practice is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced orthopaedic surgeon in both clinical and surgical settings, delivering high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

What You'll Do
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, physical exams, and clinical assessments

Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions

Assist in surgical procedures (including retraction, suturing, and intraoperative support)

Provide pre-operative and post-operative care

Administer injections and perform in-office procedures

Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans

Educate patients on recovery, wellness, and preventive care

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems


What We're Looking For
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or APRN

Active or eligible state licensure

BLS Certification (required)

Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills

Excellent communication and patient-care approach

Ability to work both independently and within a surgical team

Prior orthopaedic or surgical experience is a plus (not required)
