Spine Surgery APP Opportunity in Germantown, TN
Position Details
Full-time Advanced Practice Provider supporting a Spine Surgery team
Role includes both clinical and surgical responsibilities
Works under the supervision and direction of an orthopedic spine surgeon
Collaborative team environment focused on comprehensive musculoskeletal care
Mix of clinic-based patient care and operating room assistance
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and diagnostic workups
Review laboratory results, imaging studies, and therapy reports
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Provide patient, family, and caregiver education
Maintain and review patient medical records and clinical documentation
Implement physician-directed treatment protocols
Procedural Responsibilities
Administer injections and perform minor procedures
Perform aspirations and removal/placement of sutures or staples
Assist with reductions of fractures and dislocations
Assist with removal or excision of superficial orthopedic hardware
Assist surgeons during spinal procedures in the operating room
Provide emergency first aid care when necessary

Requirements
Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an accredited PA program
Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree in Nursing
National certification required for PA or NP
Active state licensure required or ability to obtain
Previous experience in minor medical care or emergency care required
Strong computer skills and EMR proficiency required
