Trauma & Acute Care Surgery Nurse Practitioner Nocturnist Opportunity in Loveland, CO
Position Details
Full-time Nurse Practitioner – Nocturnist (7P–7A)
Trauma and Acute Care Surgery service
High-acuity Level II trauma center
Overnight inpatient coverage
Work autonomously with strong physician collaboration
Not open to locum or locum-to-perm candidates
Not accepting visa candidates
Not accepting new graduates
Minimum two (2) years of trauma surgery experience preferred or completion of surgical fellowship
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive overnight trauma and acute care surgery coverage
Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings
Support surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management
Document care in EPIC EMR
Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging standards
Maintain high patient safety and quality performance standards
Participate in mentorship, leadership development, and continuing education
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $136,822 – $179,379 based on experience
Up to $10,000 annually through Quality Value Incentive Plan
Relocation bonus up to $10,000 for eligible candidates

Requirements
Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program with Master’s degree in Nursing
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANPCB)
Active Colorado license as a Nurse Practitioner
Eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider enrollment
Most recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) required at presentation
BLS certification required
Clean malpractice and license history preferred
No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
