Job Responsibilities

At Barbour Orthopaedics, we strive to provide exceptional patient care by utilizing advanced technology and maintaining a patient-centered approach. We prioritize doing what is right for each patient, placing their needs and well-being first.

We are expanding our practice and have a unique opportunity for a Clinical Director to lead our new clinic in Houston, TX!

What You’ll Do

As a Clinical Director, you will serve as the clinical leader of one of our outpatient Orthopaedic clinics working in close partnership with physicians and surgeons. You will supervise a team of mid-level providers to coordinate with physicians, ensuring accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, accurate documentation, and quality patient outcomes.

As Clinical Director, your role involves overseeing the workflow among the midlevel provider team, guaranteeing efficient coordination with physicians and making sure that all necessary documentation and clinical notes are completed in a timely manner. While the physician is ultimately responsible for directing patient care and making key medical decisions, you will ensure that every step of the care process is properly executed by the midlevel staff. This includes monitoring adherence to protocols, supporting patient flow throughout the facility, and maintaining consistent communication so that physicians can focus on leading patient management while the midlevel team efficiently carries out their assigned duties

Qualifications:

Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with current licensure in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopaedics, urgent care or sports medicine.

Strong clinical skills and diagnostic judgment.
Proficient with EHR systems (NextGen preferred) and emerging technologies such as ambient AI.
Proven ability to lead care teams, solve problems, and deliver results.
Our mission is simple, to maintain an unwavering commitment to providing safe and effective treatments with a friendly, supportive attitude. Results and Patient Experience are our Top Priority.

Incentive/Benefits Package:
We offer competitive pay, paid holidays, comprehensive benefit package, paid time off, 401K with company match, and free parking.

Not only that, but we also offer the cost to maintain your DEA, add you to our malpractice policy, list you on the malpractice certification, and individual coverage under the group plan.
