Job description
Health Care System which includes a team of Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons seek to add a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant to directly work with a Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. The position includes both the OR and the clinic. This is a very busy total joints practice. The doctor utilizes the most minimally invasive procedures and advanced technology for hip and knee replacements and revisions. Responsibilities include: first assist, running clinics, pre- and post-operative H&P’s, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The position offers a very good work/life balance.
Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-BC/BE. New graduates are welcome to apply but must have an orthopedic rotation.
The location is in an upscale Chicago Suburb within 10 to 15 minutes west of the Hoffman Estates area. Very competitive compensation plan and a full benefits package is provided.
