A leading private practice specializing in sports medicine and non-surgical orthopedics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Manhattan. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, including medical malpractice coverage, CME allowance, paid time off, and a strong base salary with a collections-based bonus model.
Job Description:
Compensation : $150000 - $160000 Job ID : 41027
Job Function:
Utilize the Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) EMR system.
Provide coverage across sites in Manhattan.
See approximately 10–15 patients per day (one location averages up to 20, with MA support available).
Perform EMGs, trigger point, and ultrasound-guided injections; may also administer Botox for chronic headaches.
Receive initial support from the owner during the first few weeks, then transition to working autonomously.
Patient demographic: 100% privately insured, health-conscious, athletic adults with pain management needs.
No weekend or on-call schedule; patient messages managed through an app.
Practice offers a supportive environment with very low turnover.
Job Requirements:
Active NY State License.
Interest in PMR, Orthopedics or Pain Management.
Masters Degree/BC as Nurse Practitioner (family or adult) or Physician Assistant.
