π₯ Orthopaedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C / NP) π₯
π Location: Coos Bay, Oregon 97420
π₯ About the Role:
Join a highly respected Orthopaedic Surgery team at a leading medical centre on Oregonβs beautiful South Coast! In this hands-on locum opportunity, youβll collaborate closely with the attending physician and play a vital role in patient care β from hospital rounds to assisting in surgery.
This position offers exceptional professional growth, exposure to advanced surgical procedures, and a supportive, collaborative environment.
π Key Responsibilities:
β
Record and review patient histories, develop and implement plans of care
β
Perform diagnostic studies (EMG, EKG, MRI, CT, etc.)
β
Conduct procedures β including wound care, digital blocks, tendon repair, and fracture management
β
First-assist in surgeries (tissue closures, brace/cast applications, etc.)
β
Provide orthopedic call coverage (weekday, weekend, and 24-hour rotation)
β
Participate in daily rounds, documentation, and quality initiatives

π Board Certified β Required
π©Ί Active Oregon License β Required

Full-time availability & ASAP start β Required
π» Proficient in EPIC EMR (4-hour unpaid training, testing out available in 2 hours)
π Schedule & Pay Details:
- Work Week: SundayβSaturday
- Overtime: After 40 hours/week
- Lodging: Provided and coordinated
- Call: Shared rotation with other PAs/NPs (includes weekends/holidays)
- Start Date: ASAP
