Job description
Health Care System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their orthopedic team. This position is focused in the hospital supporting several Fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons. The Physician Assistant will provide first assist (total joints, spine, extremities and fractures), ED Consults (fracture care), rounding and some inpatient management. Call schedule is minimal if any! The schedule is five, eight-hour day shifts per week (Monday to Friday).
Successful Physician Assistant should be PANCE-Certified and have experience in orthopedics.
The opportunity is twenty-five plus minutes North of Houston. The area provides lots of universities, affordable living, great schools, and all the amenities of the city of Houston.
Compensation: depends on experience level and includes incentive bonus. Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vacation, STD, LTD, CME and 401k profit sharing.
