A well-established orthopedic practice in South Carolina is seeking a Locum Physician Assistant to support hip and knee orthopedic cases. The provider will assist with patient evaluations, follow-up care, and joint injections in a collaborative and fast-paced outpatient environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in managing orthopedic conditions with a focus on hip and knee cases.
Perform joint injections and minor in-office orthopedic procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Accurately document patient encounters using EPIC EMR.
Qualifications
Active South Carolina license (required).
Proven experience in Orthopedics, specifically Hip & Knee.
Proficiency in joint injections and musculoskeletal assessments.
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
Working Hours
No weekends or call coverage.
Assignment Duration: February 2026 – Ongoing (2–4 months).
Skills
Skilled in joint injections and post-operative management.
Proficient in EPIC EMR documentation.
Excellent teamwork and patient communication abilities.
