Physician Assistant - Orthopedics
Location: Warsaw, NY - Buffalo 45m
Setting: Orthopedic Clinic - Hospital-Based
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Compensation: $90,000 $150,000 annually
Schedule: Primarily days, with some evenings
Position Overview
Join a dynamic orthopedic clinic where you'll work alongside a licensed physician to deliver comprehensive musculoskeletal care. This role involves performing a range of procedures and medical services that do not require physician-level complexity, supporting both outpatient and procedural orthopedic care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in evaluation and treatment of orthopedic patients
* Perform clinical procedures within the PA scope of practice
* Document findings and care plans in the electronic medical record
* Coordinate care and follow-up with the supervising physician
* Participate in pre- and post-operative care and patient education
Qualifications
* Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant training program
* Current New York State Physician Assistant registration
* Active BLS certification
* Minimum of 2 years experience in orthopedics preferred
* Eligible for practice in medicine, surgery, or other approved specialties under NY State guidelines Estimated pay range/amount is $135,095 - $159,313.
