Job description
Our client in Monmouth County, NJ is seeking a part time Physician Assistant to join their orthopedic team. This provider will treat patients in an ortho urgent care setting, working alongside an established team. Candidates with orthopedic experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Part-time permanent position
Monday-Friday hours 5p-8p
Saturday 11a-4p
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Perform injections
Fracture care
Qualifications:
New Jersey State license
Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminology
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Hourly rate
