An established orthopedic practice in Manassas, VA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. Work alongside team of general orthopedic physicians. Candidates with orthopedic experience or licensed new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Split between the OR and clinic
- No call or weekend requirements
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Perform injections
Qualifications:
- Virginia State license
- Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
