Health Care System seeks to add a Physician Assistant to work directly with an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Spine Fellowship.
- This position includes two days in the OR and three days in the clinic.
- The position will be spine focused but also will include some general orthopedics.
- The group has their own MRI, Physical Therapy Center and ASC.
- The Physician Assistant would run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the doctor.
- Physician Assistants need to be self-starters that are self-motivated!
- Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds and call within a clinic setting.
- Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified, have an orthopedic rotation, and should have a connection to the region.
- The location is within the Morristown, NJ area.
- Compensation: Salary is open (depends on experience), plus a bonus. Excellent benefits package!
