Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Sports Medicine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a very busy sports practice. This doctor’s specialty includes knee and shoulders as well as fractures and general cases. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation.
