We are seeking an experienced Ortho PA for a locums opportunity in Coos Bay, OR. Are you available?

• 4-5 days a week, 8-10 hours a day starting in April
• Pre-op, post-op, and surgical care of Orthopedic patients
• Procedures required include surgical first assist, deep and superficial tissue closures, application of appliances and any other action determined by the surgeon, digital blocks, regional anesthesia, minor outpatient procedures, not limited to wound management, I &D, needle biopsy, percutaneous pinning of fractures, k-wire removal, hardware removal, joint and bursa aspirations, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, joint, tendon, trigger points and bursa in jections, as well as brace, cast and splint applications.
• Orders and performs studies such as EMG, EKG, Compartment pressure measurements, x-rays, CT, MRI, and bone scans, etc.
• Serve as primary orthopedic call for ED and various inpatient units—nights, weekends and some holidays

We are offering competitive hourly (1099) compensation+ on-call stipend. We pay coordinate and pay for your travel, and also provided medical malpractice coverage.
