Health care System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their Orthopedic Team.

• The Physician Assistant will work directly with two top Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons in the NYC metro area.
• They have a very busy practice that includes new and revision total joint cases.
• The Physician Assistant will work both in the OR and the Clinic and will run their own orthopedic clinic.
• The position is Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) with no call or weekends.
• The position will be focused in Manhattan with some light travel to lower Westchester.
• Responsibilities include: patient evaluations, injections, removing casts and pins, reductions, consultation, rounds and patient evaluation and education, writing prescriptions, and reviewing lab results.
• Candidates must be organized, a self-starter and able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• This position requires some orthopedic experience.
• Prefer candidates from the NYC region.
