Health Care System needs to add a full-time Physician Assistant to their trauma team. The new Physician Assistant will work with this trauma team and handle a variety of complex trauma cases. The position includes ED consults, first assist (OR), rounds, inpatient management and clinic. The group has their own Physical Therapy, Digital X-Ray and MRI. This position is a 40-hour work week plus a shared call schedule.

Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, refer for diagnostic treatment, ED orthopedic consults, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, injections and aspirations, treat fractures (reductions), casting and splinting.

Successful candidates should be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible and able to work well in a fast-paced trauma environment. They will train a recent graduate. The location is within the New Jersey Shore near Matawan.

Compensation: Open (competitive and a bonus) plus a full benefits package.
