Health System seeks to add a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will directly support a Sports Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon that has a very busy sports practice. This doctor’s specialty includes shoulder, knees and some trauma cases. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible and have a strong interest in orthopedics. They will train a recent graduate.
