Health System seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant to their team. The position consists of two days in the OR and three days in the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Sports/Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon that has a very busy sports practice. This doctor’s specialty includes shoulder, knees, total joints (shoulder and knees) as well as fractures. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre and post-H&P’s, injections, consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and should have orthopedic experience but they will train the right candidate.
