Multi-Specialty Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon and a Sports Doctor. In the OR the focus will be first assisting on total joints. In the clinic the focus will be total joint cases, sports as well as some pain cases. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P’s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The doctor will train a recent graduate.
