Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position will be a combination of the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Spine Fellowship. This doctor focuses on spine cases which include the latest minimally invasive technologies as well as complex spine. The doctor’s practice includes complex reconstruction for spinal deformities including spinal cord compressions etc. There may be some general orthopedics as well. Responsibilities include: providing first assist, running a clinic, patient evaluation and education, pre and post-H&P’s, consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified. Any previous orthopedic experience is preferred; however, the group will train a new Physician Assistant.

The location is in the beautiful Palm Springs, California area. This area is a MECCA for golf and tennis. There is great, all year-round outdoor living. Strong base salary, plus a bonus plan and receives overtime after a 40-hour work week. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified.  
Any previous orthopedic experience is preferred; however, the group will train a new Physician Assistant.

Working Hours

Receive overtime after a 40-hour work week.
