Position Highlights:

  • Position: Surgical Physician Assistant, Orthopedics/Spine, Medical Group
  • Location: Skokie Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Required Travel: Travel to Lincolnshire 1x week will be required

What you will need:

  • License: Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
  • Education: Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred.
  • Certification: CPR certification required
  • Experience: One year of Physician Assistant experience preferred
  • Skills: Surgical experience preferred

What you will do:

  • Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients specific to their area of expertise.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Performs independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established.
