Full-time, permanent position

The (APP) is a Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner and a member of our Hematology/Oncology care team. The APP has responsibility, authority and accountability for the provision of care through supervision by and collaboration with a physician. The APP manages and provides acute care and chronic care for Hematology/Oncology patients in both the Inpatient and Outpatient care setting. They will provide comprehensive patient care through the application of independent judgment, communication and collaboration with all team members. The APP establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients and their families, to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.

Education/Qualifications:

CRNP:

The successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required
BSN, MSN is preferred
Professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience is preferred but not required
Current/Active CRNP Licensure from the State of Pennsylvania
Current BLS Certification

PA:

A graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA) is required
BS, MS candidate is preferred
Experience as a physician assistant and/or experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
Current/Active Physician Assistant Licensure from the State of Pennsylvania

Work Experience:

One-year direct patient care clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology office or Cancer Center and Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Care preferred. New graduates will be considered.
