Job description Breast & Gynecologic Oncology Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity Location: Phoenix, AZ Specialty: Hematology – Breast & Gynecologic Oncology Employment Type: Full Time, permanent position Setting: Outpatient Schedule: Monday–Friday Remote: No Position Overview This position is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong interest in breast and gynecologic oncology to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary hematology and oncology team. The APP will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the full continuum of oncology care, from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. Practice Highlights * Multidisciplinary oncology team environment * Focus on breast and gynecologic oncology * Collaborative care model with oncology physicians and APP colleagues * Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards * Emphasis on patient education, symptom management, and survivorship care * No weekend responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities * Provide direct patient care in collaboration with oncology physicians * Perform patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up visits * Manage oncology-related symptoms and treatment side effects * Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and supportive care * Coordinate care with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and other specialties * Participate in care planning meetings and tumor boards * Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as appropriate Schedule Details * Monday–Friday * No weekends Compensation & Benefits * Competitive compensation based on education, experience, and internal equity * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage * Pre-tax savings options including HSA and FSA * Retirement plan * Paid time off * Benefit-eligible position Candidate Qualifications *Nurse Practitioner* * Master’s-prepared graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program * Current Arizona RN and APRN licensure * Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certification *Physician Assistant* * Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program * Current NCCPA certification * Arizona PA licensure Additional Requirements * Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in oncology * BLS certification required at start date * DEA registration required * ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire * Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced oncology setting
