Advanced Practice Provider – Medical Oncology (NP or PA)
Location: Mankato, MN - Minneapolis 80m
Department: Medical Oncology
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Setting: Outpatient oncology with infusion support and telemedicine
Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to join a physician-led, multidisciplinary oncology team providing comprehensive cancer care in an outpatient setting. The position is primarily based in Mankato with potential outreach to a regional site within a one-hour drive. You will work closely with medical oncologists and a full cancer care team to support patients across the continuum of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
Practice Environment
* Collaborative, physician-led hematology and oncology team
* Multidisciplinary care model including:
* Radiation Oncology
* Surgery
* Radiology
* Pathology
* Weekly tumor boards
* Active participation in clinical research trials
* Strong ancillary support including nursing, pharmacy, nutrition, and social services
Clinical Responsibilities
* Perform hematology/oncology-focused histories and physicals
* Order, interpret, diagnose, and communicate diagnostic results
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
* Provide patient education regarding cancer diagnoses and treatment plans
* Manage follow-up care for oncology patients at various stages of treatment and recovery
* Support infusion center operations as needed
* Provide direct patient care and telemedicine services
Schedule & Coverage
* Full-time outpatient schedule
* Primarily clinic-based
* Potential outreach coverage within a one-hour drive
Compensation & CME
* Competitive total compensation package
* CME allowance up to $4,400 annually
* Up to 7 CME travel days (based on approved schedule time away)

Qualifications
* Nurse Practitioner
* Graduate of an accredited NP program
* Board certification required
