Job description NP Oncology Opportunity Location: Rutland, VT - Manchester, NH 120m; Albany, NY 90m Setting: Community Cancer Center Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Employment Type: Full-Time, Employed Position Overview * Full-time NP or PA in a comprehensive community cancer program * Care provided across multiple settings including outpatient clinic, inpatient, emergency department, and telehealth * Collaborative, team-based environment focused on patient- and family-centered care * No weekday call responsibilities * One weekend per month on-call coverage Clinical Responsibilities * Conduct medical histories, assessments, and interpretation of clinical findings * Develop and maintain accurate medical records and documentation * Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams * Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives * Deliver compassionate oncology-focused care across care settings Qualifications * Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant * Minimum of 2 years APP experience in a relevant specialty * Eligible for licensure in Vermont * Required certifications as applicable to department operations (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC) * Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Skills & Abilities * Excellent verbal and written communication * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage interruptions * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills * Proficient with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications * Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety principles Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary * Comprehensive benefits package * Retirement plan with employer match * Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance * Paid malpractice coverage * CME allowance funded annually * Combined paid time off * Relocation assistance * Sign-on bonus * Educational loan assistance Community * Located in a scenic New England region offering four-season outdoor recreation * Easy access to hiking, skiing, biking, and lakes * Safe, welcoming community with a strong quality of life
