A healthcare facility in Williston is seeking an Oncology Physician Assistant to join their outpatient cancer center. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage oncology patients, including formulating treatment plans and coordinating care across regional health systems. The position requires coverage for at least three days per week, Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday, within regular clinic hours.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete patient staging workups
  • Initiate chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
  • Collaborate with on-site Radiation Oncology and off-site Surgical Oncology
  • Provide clinical oversight for treatment delivery and infusions
  • Coordinate patient care with regional health systems

Qualifications

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility required
  • ND License or IMLC preferred (willingness to obtain ND license for non-licensed candidates)
  • BLS and DEA required
  • Clean malpractice record highly preferred

Working Hours

  • Minimum three days per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday

Skills

  • Experience in bone marrow biopsies preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, such as Mosaiq and Meditech
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including NPs, PAs, and RNs
